I pissed over $20K away my 1 year at Lawrence Tech. Money well spent. :jagoff:

I paid over $800/credit and needed 90 credits to graduate, on top of paying for a Bachelor and 2 minors from MSU.

it's just money.. I'll print more.

Oh I'm not done, that figure is just for tuition alone, not including books, materials, bluebooks etc. Plus, this is just for one sem. I don't even wanna look at the money I spent up to this point-- couple of semesters out of pocket

Yes, I feel sorry for you, dear Mark.

To bad it's going to cost me roughly another 7k to finish up over the next 2 years.
:(

It will be worth it.

HAHA, you're kididing right? That one semester for me with only 9 credits :lol: And think of poor Mark with his $800 per cred. hr :( Jk, money is still money no matter how much the amount. If College were easy and free, everyone would go.

No, so I guess I shouldn't complain. :lol:

Oh and the BEST part, is when you start.. you sign a contract with the ABA stating that you will NOT work over 20 hours per week.

So it's not worth working. So calculate the loss of income for 3 years (while in school) ON TOP of paying ridiculous tuition.
Then there's books, which being law books are updated EVERY SEMESTER, so no used books.

I would do it over in a heartbeat, but take the bar exam in a different state. Maybe Colorado or Arizona. I still might take another bar exam in the future.

Joe, wait til you get into the graduate level courses man...I think some of mine are 750+ per credit hour...I don't really know because I have a full ride but I was checking out my financial aid because I graduate this fall and it says they have spent almost 70 grand on my ass so far. Makes all the "hard work" in high school seem worth it now. Hopefully going to get some grants and have my work help pay for my MBA at U of M, because that is $1000+ per credit hour. For 60 credits it comes out to like 70 grand or something with all the fees and what not.

All I can say is, Damn. I've spent around to that by now, I think around 55k + It's ridiculous. I have to take my graduate level courses next sem, so we'll see.

I dont think its even $100 per credit hour at Washtenaw community, i think i paid like $232 for a 3 credit hour class...... but aside from the rapings in tution, how about those fuckin books?!?!? like $150-$300 apeice! fuck this country!

tuition = death of toys

Kettering University (yah, private school, blows)
One SEMESTER's tuition and stupid fees-> $12,680 (15-22 credits, i'm taking 20 again)
Figure in all your books, living & housing expenses, beer cuz there are no women at the school, you're done for.

That leaves tuition alone for a year at $25,320. I'm in my 4th year now. Last week I was going through our site making sure I had my bills paid and found where the school estimated we would pay for one year's worth when all is said and done...... just a nuthair under $42k

:punchball

Sorry, we have TONS of women, just not very many of them.

I transfered in a course from Washtenaw community college so I wouldn't have to deal with our liberal arts department... 400 bucks for a 3 credit class, books, and fee to transfer it to count as a 4 credit course at KU.

Ha Ha! I am a GMI/Ketting Grad (99'). Man has tuition gone up. It was like 6k when I started back in fall of 94'. But it increased every semester and apparently had some huge increases after I left!!!:eek: I am still paying off my loans and if all goes well will be done around 2010 or so.....

And I love that the line about the women is still alive and kicking at the school!!:roll: Ah, memories.... The other one I remember is the few pretty (or even semi-pretty) girls getting IPS (Instant Princess Syndrome). Only at that school! Man I should have hung out at State a lot more. More women and hotter women!

IPS still exists, kicking in about the begining of their 3rd week their freshman 1 term, and it's filed down to every woman at the school, including the closet monsters. Yep, we're still importing girls from Mott and State every weekend. Doesn't take a whole lot to have hotter women than here though. They probably didn't have the SWE (society of women engieers) shirts that defined IPS as inspiring, productive(???), successful or something along those lines.

Price has gone up in the few years I have been here. If I remember right, close to 2k/semester. Yep, tuition was 10.6k/semester when I started.
