diesel people, what causes engine shaking?

my 99 e300 mercedes has been flawless, but i just got a new problem with it and i dont know a lot about diesels. Its a inline 6 turbocharged 606 engine with 200k on it. It just started vibrating a significant amount at idle, but it seems to dissapear when i'm driving...or it may just seem like it has. Anybody know what may be the cause?
 
Yeah I was going to say injector as well......do you have any engine lights, or codes being thrown.......Maybe have someone with a mervcedes scan tool check them. i would hate to know how much it will cost to fix, if it is something like that.
 
could be a multitude of things. most likely an injector but i have seen pumps on these go bad when i worked in the Benz dealership. another thing that is a big problem on these are wire harness short to ground. check all the wires running to sensors and look to see if they are frayed at the connectors. also if there is an engine cover remove it and look for rat crap. for some reason rats LOVE to eat Benz wiring. ive worked in many dealerships, but once a week we would have an estimate of 1000-3000 in wiring damage because of rodents.
