Let's meet at "The Pit" Saturday.... I got a thousand rounds of .223 and a few dozen bowling pins we can shoot up!
 
Definitely gonna try to make it to this depending on the day it goes down and final location. I need to do some shooting, it's been awhile, and i have a couple that are NIB waiting to come out and play.

Is this the "famous" outdoors shooting range I've been hearing about for years?

Where is this place, an address (for GPS) please. Is it free or is it at a state park?
 
Pit address is sacred, keep it to PM's.....jk....unless you want it shut down by snowflakes on a mission...

Google Map "Lapeer pit"... I haven't been there in a while but yes it's free and long as if you don't bring any kind of dynamite It should be okay (TTA please read the last sentence twice :lol:)
 
I've been to the pit a couple times in the last year or so. It is more regulated than it used to be, don't see alot of TVs and old refrigerators being shot up. They want you to stick to clay targets and paper targets, but you can get away with a little more than that, just not like the old days.

On a clear day sometimes you can hear the automatic weapons fire while enjoying the other establishment known to many of us that is just a mile down the road.
