Did Rodgers mark the ball

If it were the other way around and it was Weaver, the Cardinal fans would back the "clump of dirt and resin" story.
absolutly agree. i would just like to think that a pitcher with that amount of years in the leauge would be a little smarter than to have some dookie on his hand during the world series where there are 700 cameras.

pine tar does not come off easy thats the end of story, he could have never gotn pine tar off his hand in under 10 minutes

Basicly the same thing as above. If you have ever chalked up a wood baseball bat with pine tar you would know what its like. It dont come off for a while.

I use to play ball when I was younger. It was the cool to tack your bat up with pine tar. My Mom use use to go nuts about that shit all over my batting gloves and informs.

I'm telling you rubbing alcohol will take it off. Trust me I'm sure they have enough stuff to remove it "just in case"

100% correct

"[The] umpires were very proactive," Palermo said.

Yeah, sure. They helped wipe away the evidence."

What a dick

The dirt is in perfect location if someone wanted to put pine tar or some other stuff on their hand and get to it easily...just try it with your hand and match up where the 'dirt' is and where the easiest spot to rub on your hand is...

Fox 2 just showed pictures of his pitching hand during the A's, Yankee's and the current Cardinals series...He had that "stain" on all 3 series. Oh shit!

He did get hit with a ball hard in the hand in the yanks series, witch could have been the mark in game pitchd 1 and 2 but how does a bruise just wipe off :dontknow:

even if it were something else, the ball hit the ground the pitch before they noticed it so if it were clear or anything it could have stained, could have been muddy shit, spit, pine tar, whatever it was, he pitched 6 more hitless innings without it.

They have a video on espn.com on the right upper corner were some guys talkes about it and stats that about 60percent of pitchers use pine tar lol including the cardnals so why make a big deal about it.
