Dewalt Cordless Impact Drivers?

Backstory here: fiancée got me a Dewalt 20V Max kit with a drill and sawzall, as well as a circular saw. I've been thinking for some time now about getting a cordless impact for rotating tires, since I don't have air tools at my condo. Now that I've got several batteries and a system, I'm thinking hard about picking up a 1/2 impact to go with my other tools. Anyone have the Dewalt versions? If so, how's the battery life and torque on it? Thanks in advance.

Co-worker has Craftsman 3/8 and 1/2 versions, and they are pretty damn awesome. Battery life is good, and they've got some power. I can only assume that Dewalt's products are just as good, but probably better.

What's the voltage on his? How long do they last? My main concern is if I get one, I won't be able to do lugs on a car on a single battery. I've got a few 1.5Ahr XR batteries, and one 3.0 Ahr large battery for the set. I think the 3.0 would give me enough juice to do quite a bit.

My Harbor Freight cordless impact lasts a weekend of tire changes for at least 3 of us at the track. I would think that the Dewalt would perform better than my $75 POS that has been perfect for the last 3 seasons.

I have a Dewalt impact wrench (the driver is actually different and for screws). That said, there is a wide range of them, and the key is making sure you check the specs. They range from fairly puny, up to excellent. I have the big 300 ft/lb version, and it's pretty great. I've used it to pull down suspensions, brakes systems, jammed up motorcycle parts. Whatever I need really, it's been up to the task thus far.

I have a Dewalt (I think it's 18V) impact driver. It sat unused for over a year. When I pulled it out, the battery was still good! I charged it overnight, then used it for 2 solid days of driving 1/2" X 3 lag screws into pallets. I re-charged it overnight between the 2 days, but it showed no sign of weakness.
I don't think you will have any issues rotating several sets of tires on one charge.

I have the 18v dewalt impact and no problem on lugnuts. The tool itself is under $100 if I remember right, its good value.

i have a 18v 1/2" snapon and that batteries last quite a while, and it does lug nuts like it's nothing.

that Snap-on is a BEAST. I never had the need in the dealerships i worked in but I can see where it would be worth that much to some people. However, I did use my Makita 3/8" 18v Impact for pretty much everything other than lugs.

The similar Dewalts work pretty much the same but dont hold up to the constant abuse and the older ones were not as ergonomic.
