Detroit's Finest: CTS-V with AutoLavish and Steven Pham Photography

obviously car to car is different (some take more time/some take less due to condition) but roughly how many hours do you spend on your exterior details? And do you guys go very in depth with your interiors? Just curious since most of your work I see posted is mainly focused on paint correction/exterior detailing. Nice results no matter how you slice it though!

Excellent thread! Keep 'em coming!

Will do

man you guys do amazing work. i love this kinda stuff

Thanks a lot Shadow

Awesome pics... That last picture I love the most...

Same here - thats why its the last one you see :)

Just curious when you deatil the wheels do you ever remove them?

Sure do - but only when a client requests it. It takes a lot more time, but allows for a full detail of suspension components which is really nice for cars that won't be driven much.

Very much so, but on average we spend 6-10 hours on clients vehicles (with two men working that entire time). We have a 4 hour minimum, and the most we've spent on a vehicle thus far has been 23 hours (46 man-hours). This particular CTS-V was a little over 8 hours from start to finish. Interior work is something we do as well, but a lot less often as most people want to spend their money on the exterior. A good cleaning on an interior is about two hours of work on average, with 3-4 being taken for very dirty cars or larger vehicles. We charge a flat rate price, so the work requested is always a direct reflection on the clients goals, priorities, and what they feel is worth the money.
Our process is extremely thorough and time consuming, our products are great... but expensive, our knowledge and attention to detail has earned us a positive reputation, the type of work we put out, the types of people that come to us, and the price we charge is a reflection of those things.

Thanks for the kind words guys. The next post will be coming in a couple of days and will either be stuff we did on a some-what recent work trip, or a recent client with A LOT of interior work (two vehicles with a total of 6 interior hours and 2 exterior hours).
