Detroit Versus Detroit

For the record, I think Detroit is an awesome city, I just wish the people who lived there did too, and treated it as such. There is a lost generation in Detroit, and I don't know how you save it. The city isn't going to get better without the people who live there changing.

Lots of truth right here. The normal way of living in Detroit is not normal anywhere else.
 
Awww man - atleast it was somewhat entertaining around MM for a few minutes. Disappointed he was banned - Zeesh lighten up. I did not see any threats or real issues from his/her posts. Are we that sensitive like the ones on the big Social Media pages that we have to pull out a Ban Stick. (Me = shakes head... come on MM)

I'm with you on this one. He made some moderate points initially but got shitty right before the ban though.

With that being said, Detroit is a great place full of rich history and cool architecture. However, many people do not feel that way, for one reason or another.

I too feel bad that Sammy got banned.

I however wonder if that was his plan
from the start. I'm not afraid of a view
or opinion that differs from mine.

We simply need to be somewhat respectful
in how we challenge, debate or complain.
 
Yep I just re-read all of Sammy's posts... Banning him or her was dumb IMO, and no I have no clue who they are. They were pretty open and giving a different perspective. Many points I could honestly agree with. I am amazed at how bad Roseville has gotten or Eastpoint. Shit look at all the stupid corruption I am dealing with where I now live (Macomb Twp.) It is a shit show in Macomb. Not to mention all the crime nobody wants to talk about.

Guess I will get the Ban stick too..

Like I said, I don't much care to get in the debate about the cities with him. I don't even disagree with him. The issue I took was taking shots at our club members (multiple times, he deleted some posts) and then not having the balls to even tell us his screen name. I didn't think it was appropriate to let him take shots at people like that.

I appreciate your opinion though, next time I'll give some thought and maybe handle it differently.
