I applaud police chief craig. His response is bone chilling and true. Without this man Detroit would be so much worse.



This is my old neighborhood and is truly a different world. Im very sorry for the family. Im glad race wasn't brought in to this.... However if it was it would be NATIONAL news.

I live a block from the church... My house was on LOCKDOWN this morning... People are waiting anywhere from 30-45mins for the funeral procession...

I watched some of it here at work. Very tough indeed- but speaking from experience, having so much support from fellow officers, the Fire Dept., and the community is an honor that will stay with his family forever. R.I.P. Sgt. Steil.
