Was coming home from my g/f's house and heading east on I-94 about 3:30 a.m. after I just got off I-75... So I cruising in the middle lane at 75mph... Next thing I look up and see the good old red and blue flashing lights of an undercover scout car screaming towards the rear of my car... So I go to start shifting over to the right lane... Well the cop tries to pass me on the right so I freezed and stayed in the middle of the two lanes... Squad car starts going sideways and starts losing it... I don't know why but I jammed on the brakes hard... I lock up and start skidding... The scout car then goes by me sideways half way in the right hand lane and half way in the far right break down lane... Slams into a brand new Pontiac SUV's rear bumper on the drivers side... The squad car then goes spinning into the embankment and the SUV head towards the wall... I am thinking shit I am going to hit the SUV... All I was doing was holding on and praying... The SUV stops just before smashing into the center lane... I finally come to a stop and throw the car in reverse and pull it into the break down lane... I get out and hobble over to the squad car... The cops are fine and I hobble over to the Pontiac SUV... Both truck drivers are fine(the driver looked like Larry the cable guy and sounded just like him)... So I stay around to see if they need me or what not and make sure everyone's good... Next thing I know... 3 marked squad cars show up and 4 unmarked squad cars show up... They all talk about it and reply the car's onboard camera... The bitch about this... That same scout car that just wrecked was in service since january for crash damaged from a cop getting shot at...:icon_eek:

Pics below... Sneaked in a few... I don't think they would like me taking pics non-stop of everything so I got the good stuff...

Someone needs to give that cop a breathilizer test.
I talked to the cop and he seemed to be fine at all... He just lost it cause of the rain... I think he over corrected himself too much and since it was still wet outside the car started to get real loose...

a cop going too fast for conditions? no way

Yeah, no shit... I've seen them go sliding on to the main road here in East Lansing in rain because they drive too fast :P

A couple years ago a semi lost it and laid down in front of me in snow on the PA turnpike. I managed to stop in time pulling a trailer with a car in it and a cop in a Caprice slammed right into it in the lane next to me. I had to write down what I saw and I wrote the car was traveling at a high rate of speed and could not stop in time. Basically, I had my anti-lock brake system disabled and he didnt.
