there was a guy from detroit who called in on the wrif last week bitching about his car insurance rates. He claimed detroit was not bad at all and no cars get stolen in the city. They all get stolen outside the city and then are dumped there and he gets stuck paying high insurance rates lol.

Where did you guy's get the info I'd like to check a couple of cities out.
 
On a serious note, perhaps Detroit is more honest about reporting crime and that's why it seems higher than perhaps it really is.

The funny thing is I've been to St. Louis, and I work in Detroit. In no way does St. Louis have the square footage of gheto as Detroit. St. Louis is a nice city, with it's bad parts like any other major city. I wonder how they actually determine the "winners". I know in this city, they seem to forget about alot of murders & fires...no one cares anymore.
 
I often take trips to the shithole dumps of Flint and the ghettos of Detroit. I wear red AND blue colors, walk around in the middle of the night, and yell vulgarities (of all kinds) and mo' fuckas don't fuck wit me. Detroit and Flint, ain't shit. I got both thiose cities on lock, ya herrrrrrrd!

Your basement doesn't count as the slums of Flint. The red and blue pajamas aren't considered offensive to anyone......and "hunny, do we have an mint chocolate chip ice cream?" isn't considered threatening to anyone. Unless you are a pint of ben and jerrys.......
