This truck belongs to my Dad, and I decided to give it some MUCH needed attention as a Father's Day gift. As you will see from the before pictures, it had some swirls, marring, and nasty water spots. There were also random scratches, mostly from helping out around a friend of the family's farm.

Process:
Washed with NXT Car wash shampoo through a gun.
Dried with Meg's Water Magnet WW drying towel.
Clayed using Smooth Surface Clay Kit.
Meg's Ultimate Compound on yellow polishing pad via G110V2.
Meg's M26 Hi Tech Yellow Carnauba on black finishing pad via G110V2.
Meg's Ultimate Protectant on mirrors and bumper plastic.
Black Magic tire shine on wheel wells and tires.
Final wash: ONR.

As you can see, the paint looked dull...

And swirly!

After I washed it and dried it...you can see the water spots.

My Dad keeps walking around the truck looking at it. So needless to say, he's thrilled with the results.

Looks nice. Should have pulled the lift blocks out to get rid of the "always rolling downhill" look.

Looks good. I like the way you do things, I honestly cant stand Black Magic anything (tire shine) Once again, nice job!

Great work! Ultimate Compound is really under-rated as it not only does nicely, but is available at a lot of places locally. I especially like the subtle things like the door handles and bumper trim: those are the things that go along with clear paint to truly make a car look YEARS younger.

very nice! just needs some leveling and the tailgate decals removed!

Yeah, I think he is going to ditch the Escalade 18s and go with something else. Probably a 17 inch wheel with an All Terrain tire. I offered to remove the Chevrolet decals from the tailgate but he loves it on there.

Thanks! I don't like Black Magic either. First time using it. I went to buy Meg's Hot shine but they didn't have any and I was in a pinch.

Thanks, Marc! I was striving for 85-90% correction, and I think I achieved it.
