[DEBATE] Grandholm vs. DeVos

I'm not convinced someone else in Lansing would have done much better over the last four years. Everything sounds simple on the campaign trail until the election is over and then there are usually no real changes in anything, sadly.

I think the reason for the smiling is because they are excited to debate and share their ideas.

I thought it was really funny when Granholm said "the old recipe...unfettered free trade".

a) when has "unfettered" free trade ever been the recipe
b) how is free trade bad
c) oh yeah it's bad if you suck and the competition is better and you do nothing to change.
 
The problem is we're getting fucked on this so-called free trade. I'm for "fair" trade, not "free" if "free" means we have to pay a huge tax to sell our goods abroad and other countries don't.

Devos kicked her ass tonight. He has only been in politics for a year, and he just went one hour toe to toe with a career politician. Her best spin would be a draw. He focused on the issues and kept deflecting her cheap shots. Her last little line about him investing in a nursing home cited for beating old people just sounded lame.

Let's get Dick in the governors mansion!

Seemed like even the once asking the questions were anti granholm. I found it pretty funny at times, and yes she's bitch. One time she did a report in detroit. I happened to be working in the area. I really don't consider "just on the other side of 8 mile" in deroit. She needs to do an interview in some of the hell holes i have to go into every single day all day long rat infested alleys, were you dont know if your going to make it home that night to see your famly.
I'm definatly voting for devos. She's wasted enough of my time.
