DD remote start not working

2012 Chevy Cruze with factory remote start. Doesn’t do anything when I try to start it. No light flash. New batteries and no cel. Anyone have any ideas? I have heard the hood latch sensor could do it but it’s not showing it’s open so idk.

Not yet, ran out of daylight last night. Was weird because I was at work and it wasn’t starting. Got closer and it fired up. The distance I was at is where I normally start it every day. Then the next morning it was fine. At work again and nothing and still won’t do anything a day later.

Any stored codes will keep the remote starts from functioning on GMs.

Checked it with my scanner and nothing. It is just a cheapo one though.

Ice/snow on the windshield or other windows? If there is, remove it and try remote starting it as you'd normally do.

Put a new battery in one and left the other alone. Neither are starting but lock and unlock etc.
