DD, 23 year old BMW. :)

i've never had that issue. i am also a former E32 owner (cirrus blue 750IL). maybe it's because all of mine have been from the 80's? lol. but E36's are notorious for shoddy interior that likes to fall apart after a few years. E39's had weak cooling systems and dead pixels in the cluster, etc. like any car, they have quirks, but the overall package cant be beat, imo. after i finish college and land a real job, i plan on getting an E46 M3 to daily. but that could be a few years. lol.

i can switch my OBC to metric and Celsius, maybe you pressed something funny? :)
woops, meant matrix, not matric. It was just a bunch of wierd changing symbols

My Buddy gave a ticket to one just like yours on M59 in Shelby today. I just happend to pass him when he pulled the BMW guy over!

not me or my car! maybe it was Evan? his garage is over there and he works on my car (and others like it). lol, that would be funny.

Just an off topic question, is the front license plate....5H17 - BOX...supposed to read SHIT-BOX???

If so, +1 for creativity.

Nice ride. My neighbor had one just like it when I was younger (though his was spotless).

I assumed so. I also like the anti-Quattro sticker.

i just thought i'd share something a little bit different. the car is an utter blast overall. its not super fast, it doesnt handle the best, but it's an overall package. i've driven MANY cars, but this one is more fun than any of them.

I had the same car in red (87 325is 5spd). Although it was a decent driving car, you need to drive a few more cars if that one is the most fun of anything you have driven:lol:

i dont know what to tell you. its especially fun in the snow!
i've spent some time behind the wheel of quite a few cars though. S55, cayenne turbo, SL600, mustangs, an E39 M5, multiple M3's, etc. i like little cars, what can i say? i'd love to have a miata. :scared:

should have bought a GTP :poke::flip::icon_lol:

that'll be the day.. :flip:

My dad is working on a little Miata(2nd gen I think?) he picked up cheap from a friend. I don't think I'm getting anywhere with the ls1 conversion talk, but maybe I can talk him into a turbo

naw, i already talked to him today...gotta drop his engine hoist back off this afternoon. no BMWs there in a while

maybe it was someone from the dealership there.

greddy makes a nice little turbo kit for it. the cheapest model only runs a few lbs of boost. so little in fact, it doesnt even come with an intercooler. lol.

lol, matt. civics are great daily commuter cars. i used to drive this one:

i couldnt roll one again however, because they are wrong wheel drive. IF i were going to buy fwd, it would have to be one of the following:
-wagon
-diesel
-VW

it would be nice to have all three though.
