DBK's 2013 GT500 on the Dyno

600whp with a 3/36k warranty, truly awesome. What does the ZR1 make to the tire?

Most are around 560/530 hp /tq with a 5/100k warranty. The weight at 3300 is why it traps 133 mph on avg, compared with the 125 mph of the GT500. Unfair comparison, since a $65k GT500 is priced closer to a Z06 (not a $110k ZR), which traps around the same.

I have always been more of a GM guy, and I have no doubt the next model year the ZL1 will be a lot stronger, however, I think the GT500 is just a bad ass car. I like the looks, and the power is insane.

MSRP is $54,200 + $795 for delivery = $54,995 which is $20,000 cheaper than a Z-06 (MSRP = $75,600)

The Shelby is more in range with the base model Vette or GS which MSRP in the low $50's.

It would be nice if you could get one for $55k right now, but I have to think the dealers will be stroking people for awhile. Congrats on the new ride DBK!

We sold our allocation for sticker only. They were sold before we could order them. Largest dealer in MI and we got 3. They are really limiting the first production run. I hope they up it because we have a lot of interested qualified buyers. Hell I'd sell/trade my CJ in for one.

Damn, that is ridiculous! They sound great for a factory car too, was next to a convertible one on the road the other day and it was stunning.

Purely interested in the numbers, I know the Vette is an entirely different type car, just curious to know how much more the GT500 put to the ground.

Hopefully they sell the shit out of them. Wicked cars. Makes me want to delay a pool a few years lol
