Some of you may already know I have had quite a few mustangs over the years and none have kept my interest for more than a season or two. A couple years ago I scored my 2005 mustang GT. The only downside was cosmetics. It needed paint and several stick on additions removed. It was almost entirely stock mechanically with the exception of an ebay dvd head unit in the shaker 1000's spot and drilled and slotted rotors.

Correct, same car. I have half assed documented my build through the pics on my phone. I will post more later. It has been through quite a few stages up to its current state.

Whoever did that to that car needs to find a new line of work lol. I bet you got it for a good price because I don't know anybody that would think that looks good.

I bought it from a stoner/artist who spent an entire winter airbrushing both sides with the same graphics. I honestly felt bad for the guys art being covered up and my poor painter having to smooth out 100 coats of paint and clear.

First order of business was to bring it out to the painters house and get it stripped and prepped.

Funny you should say that. I put a deposit on it and when I came back to purchase it in full I had to do it at his parents house due to hash bash.

The stock hood is aluminium and had paint peel and corrosion starting in the seams. We felt it would be in our best interest to start with a cleaner hood. Due to our inability to find a good candidate used and my being unwilling to put out the insane number for a factory hood we settled on a harwood cowl.

Me too. It is still undergoing mods. I kind of have an idea where I want it to end up, but we all know how those things go.

should have let him paint your trailer lol. I mean the airbrushing its self was cool but not on a car it would have been a cool piece for a man cave or garage but not plastered on the side of a car.
