Its probably been done before.

I have a ton of parts waiting to go on now. I think after tomorrow when we get some guys over there to help with the prep work it will be ready to go. If anyone wants to help pm me for a phone number. We should be there most of the day, unless for some reason it goes very well and we finish early.
 
its a color change the car should be shot in pieces because tape lines suck dick... shell with doors on and aligned . then the fendres hood bumpers and hatch seperately. you have to " cut in " the bottms of the hatch and hood .. if you paint the shell with the clip off you can shoot 100% of the door jamb with the door on .. pluss it looks good when the lower a post and 1/4 panel arent wasted try to align a freshly painted car

or if you wanna paint the car together its gotta be apart to cut it in first .. then you have have tape lines in all your jambs .

dont ask how i know .. its just a hunch

I talked to him briefly this morning. He is in the process of it as we speak. I am spending some QT with Jaz so I cant make it out there till after her nap.
 
well i dont know much about paint work.... but i have seen alex's work and it is NOT ANY "barn yard backwoods bullshit paint work".... the truth will tell when daves car is done. here it is as of 5 min ago...

He does know what he is doing. We are just giving him shit for the most part. I am pretty sure that is just water for wet sanding in a windex bottle.
