Database of traffic accidents?

If I needed to find out if someone rolled a semi truck and trailer on I90 in Wisconsin within the last week, how would I find this information?

Hmmm... it would have to be big enough to make it on NTSB's site but it probably takes a year befor the report hits the web. You won't get anything out of Wisconsin's DMV unless you know someone there or you file a FOA filing as a concerned party.

The best bet is probably key word search in hopes that is made the website for one of the radio or TV stations in the area.

You can try searching for local news affiliates and then spot check their web site. Google "Wisconsin News". The first page of results will list several sites that would probably contain what you're looking for.

Yer Safe.....According to Rick, Nobody will find out for a YEAR!!!!!

If this is a specific incident you know occurred, when did it happen? FWIW, I drove the entire I90 in Wisconsin last Thursday and saw nothing of the sort nor anything that would indicate such thing happened. Nasty fog that morning though.

I have a tenant that drives a truck who claims to have just gotten out of the hospital because of this. This is the only excuse I'd accept at this point. If it's true I will cut him a break, if not, I won't.
