that or depending on how bad they are you can usually use some coarse compound and a wheel to bring them back to life. or even go as far as taking some 2000 wet by hand and smoothing them down to a nice even white haze and wheel them out. they usually come right back to life.

if they're not tttoooooooo bad, I think there are some over the counter kits that are supposed to work pretty good. I believe 3M has a popular one made for a drill

They mostly yellow on the inside, if they arent too bad, remove the headlights and use some clr on the insides,....make sure you let them dry completely before putting them back on,..if they are bad, get a new set.

Mine were getting yellow on my 88 GT, i used 2000 grit sandpaper
and wet sanded them and then polished them with a buffing wheel, they
came out good, now i can see at night. Now i just need to get some compound and buff them a little better.

I'm not that handy mine are still a little frosted I think. maybe I need to sand em down with the 500 grit more.

heres a pic of my old car. my lenses were all yellowed and nasty, i used 1500 grit and wet sanded them, then used a buffer and some soft cut compound and here is the result. looks pretty good

Is it the Escort, or the Mustang? Either way, start low. I've started with 800 and went up to 2000 and rubbed them. 90% perfect. 100% would be getting new ones. You could tell a slight difference next to my buddy's car who had new ones. But mine were FORD. :lol:
