Did I ever tell you the story about my buddy who paid cash for a Shelby GT500?
Kinda long so bare (or bear) with me.
DW's mom died when he was in 5th grade. His first step mom, "Nan", was really cool and helped DW deal with his mom's death. She was his second mom.
DW's dad deeevorced nan and went on to 4 or 5 more step moms, all who were biothces.
DW's keep in touch with Nan until she died. DW would plow her drive way, fix her house up, etc. DW wanted to move up North (he is a very fanatical hunter/fisherman). but said he couldn't until Nan died.
Nan lived in a decent ranch in Livonia. She didn't work since the late 80s and didn't have any offspring of her own. DW thought he wouild be luckly if he got a small chunk of the house but really didn't give a shit as this lady was his "mom".
Turns out that Nan had invested in blue chip stocks since the fucking 50s and left the house and everything to DW.
Today Dw has a 10 acre spread with a sweet house and a heated/AC pole barn about the size of a city block. He is slowly filling up the pole barn with cars.
