Dammit, still can't sleep!!!!

Drugs for insomnia are some of the scariest out there. I've ingested some dangerous substances, but you won't catch me popping ambien.

Supposed to leave for to Traverse City in about three hours, and drive back later today. Not looking forward to the drive home after working outside all day and getting up at 4 in morning..

In September the doctor is removing my tonsils & part of my uvula. Evidently my uvula is 2 or 3 times the length of what a normal persons is. I am just well hung in the uvula department.
The CPAP isn't working so I am hoping this operation helps me sleep.

Sure would be nice to get a solid nights sleep in....

Unrelated note, think these will be bright enough on the Jeep?

This is yet another night of waking up at 330 AM and not being able to go back to sleep. I'm getting desperate here...anyone else go through this? I stay away from caffine for the most part, and for sure no caffine after noon, go to bed between 9:30 & 10 PM, exercise 3 or 4 days a week. Tried lavender, the BiPAP, Benadryl. Open to options. Getting to sleep isn't difficult, staying asleep is. I have a doctor's app't Tuesday to discuss this issue. I'm soooo friggin tired.....:icon_psyc

Xanax

Melatonin is a short term fix according to websites & the instructions on the bottle. Maybe your body gets used to the pills and stops making melatonin on it's own? Let me stay at a Holiday Inn Express & get back with you on that.

Had another sleep study, the doc thinks I may have restless leg syndrome. Was in bed for 8.5 hours, slept for about 5.45. Gave me pills for it yesterday, was in bed by 9:15 PM, up at 11:45, 2 AM & 3 PM. Tonight I get to double up on the pills to see if that helps.
