My dad finally took delivery on his 2011 5.0 last week and got the stripes done a couple of days ago. He's driving the car out here for a visit in a couple of weeks but he sent me these pictures. It's a GT Deluxe with the 6-speed, 3.73s, and the Brembo brakes. His 2007 was blue with silver stripes so we decided that he should invert the colors for the 2011. We also agreed that the double stripes looks better than the big single stripe that comes from the factory. He says that it's going to stay stock. We'll see.

They are beautiful cars thats for sure! I love mine... As far as leaving it stock it's a car that you could leave stock and still enjoy it ...

Thanks for the comments. His 2007 had the exact same stripes, right down to the GT350. He liked it so he did it again.

He's driving out here on Saturday so I'll get to see the car in person and drive it this weekend. (I haven't had a chance to drive a 5.0 yet so it'll be interesting to compare to my slow cars.)

Looks nice and it's refreshing to see one other than Grabber Blue. Maybe it's just the color, but they seem to be EVERYWHERE. I would have skipped the stripes, but it looks good. He needs some lowering springs.

Very nice. That silver looks really nice with those wheels. If he's gonna leave the GT 350 he should yank the 5.0 badges. Little busy right there.

Took the words out of my mouth, but the ride height doesn't bother me. I bet it doesn't look that high in person.

that does look great. haven't seen a silver one yet. i just drove one from my work today and they're fun to drive. fell quick but controlled. totally different than my car.

Saw this in person tonight at the Farmington car show/cruise. Stripes looked better than I expected.

Thanks. You should have said Hi.

i think i will need a 1 1/2 for mine.

Shaun has the 1 1/2" drop on his and it hits everything (curbs, bumps, rubs the tire on the fender). He's swapping for the 1" drop very soon. (So get a hold of him and buy his old ones if you really want the 1.5s.)
