Cylinder heads.

Well I am stumped :faint: I have decided that I want to go with a good after market Cylinder head for this up-coming season... My problem is I can't decided on which head. I am looking at the Dart Pro 1 heads and Victor Jr's.

Pro's and cons of both heads? Any other suggestions? Thanks for the input.



For what its worth the engine is a 393 Windsor with Flat tops and a Solid Flat tappet camshaft.

I would like to spin the shortblock no higher then 7k RPM, I am going with a Super victor intake, c4 trans with a 5500 stall converter (Redneck) 28 inch tall tire and 4.56 gear. I got Crane 1.6 rockers/7/16 stud. My goal is 10.50-70's on motor.
 
With those kind of cubes i would go with the Dart CNC 225 or the Vic Sr's and just undercam it a little bit.

I have jr's on my car an it runs those numbers with easy. I've gone 10.3x when I had a 5 speed and 4:30 gear.

410 ci, 11:1, stock jrs, solid flat tappet(260/264 .592/.544) super victor intake, c4, chance conveter(it's tight on motor) 3.73 gear. Typically it runs 10.40-50's. It's gone 10.39 once :lol: with the 3.73 and auto in this type of weather.
 
those ones john has are the bomb diggity, ported with matching intake porting on a big vic and your all day :)
