Cutting springs on a fox

Recently purchased an Eibach drag launch kit for my car, and i know these springs are taller then stock, but i actually want to lower the front end. by cutting these springs down is it gonna screw up the whole geometry of this setup...and how much should i cut off these springs in the front. I really dont wanna do the whole trial and error thing of cutting a little bit then puttin em on takin em back off cuttin again. Anyone runnin this setup?

i dont have any experience with the eibach springs... but a drag spring is desined to be longer than a stock spring and alot softer. that way more energy is stored in the spring and it will allow the front end to travel farther with less effort. the more you cut off the springs the more you render them useless.

that being said, moroso drag springs tell you right in the directions you can cut up to 2 coils off them. give it a month or so to settle in before you start cutting. springs will settle quit a bit after you put a few miles on them.

i cut mine and it still launches the same... only thing i didnt take into consideration is how low the headers hung and now they are only about 3-4 inches off the ground so they hit on everything

i cut 1 1/2 coils off and it lowered the car 4-5 inches so be carefull and only cut a half coil at a time and see how it looks

They are progressive rate springs so this statement is untrue.

I would cut 1/2" coil at a time as mentioned above to be safe.
