custom mustang header's !

headers, pan, k-member, looks impressive. that type of set-up is my goal in the hopefully near future. pulled the stock tubes off my 91 last night. i'm just gonna buy some macs, or bbk for this season. like the 5.8 idea though. i'll keep checking on your progress, so keep it coming.:bigthumb:

i just put a set of 1-3/4" mac longtubes on xtremewheelz's car! it was not that bad except i had to lift the mtr a few inches to get the passenger side on and i had to take steering shaft off to get the driver's side on!

here's a few pic's for ya! oh and by the way did not have to dent any tubes on the mac's they fit pretty nice once they were in!

thanks for the pics, info. do you see any real benefit to me putting the 1 3/4's or a longtube on mine? motor is stock, i may throw a b or e shaft in since everythings pretty much open now, but heads are stock. i was thinking shorties would be pretty simple, but joined this club to research some of you guys combos that will fit into my goals.(and the a/h lounge too, lol) thanks. jim.

on a stock mtr i would go with a set of 1-5/8" mac longtubes! i would not use 1-3/4" on a stock mtr! you will need the smaller primaries for torque! i also would go with long tubes over shorties!

thanks fogged. i'm gonna order monday, i'll check on the mac's. we've got a good hook-up with mac. being a frpp dealer at work, we do quite a bit of performance parts in general. if the install isn't too crazy, longtubes sound good. i bought the energy susp. eng./trans mounts recently, the install should be a breeze right now. well, i'm off to the garage!
