I got it running. The car had a pretty elaborate positive terminal cable. It seems that when the SRS goes off it cuts the power to the engine. I replaced that on Saturday and it fired up. The MMI (Nav/Radio) still didn't work. After probing the fuse block I found a 5 AMP fuse that was blown....it fixed the MMI issue.
Here are some pics of the trunk area.
4 of the 5 seatbelt pretensioners went off, so after about 5 hours of work I got the four belts out and shipped out to MyAirBags.com to have them repaired.
Now we are just down to body work.
Here is the 1/4 panel glued in its final position and the trunk lid now closes/seals and fits pretty damn good.
Looks good Tim, your dad did an amazing job on Krystal's car would've never known it got it. Her car was hit hard too.
Im sure this will be perfect like always!
The car is now 99% done. We did final assembly on Friday. Suspension adjustments and alignment on all 4 tires on Saturday and exhaust repair on Sunday. Today the car will get wet sanded and polished. We now only need an inspection from the State and then it will be on the road.
found a stock muffler from a guy in Ohio....this will do until I can find a nice used system.
