i'm puttin a 4" crank into my ls2 block, now i know i need 6.125 length rods, not sure if the journal sizes change when goign to an aftermarket eagle crank or not, but i was thinking i could just use some sbc rods and save some money

anyone have any input?

SBC rods and LS1 rods are the same price from eagle.

maybe someone was just trying to pocket some $$ from me cause they said they were different, and it was a ls1tech sponsor :pissed:

but he said the ls1 pin was .927" and journal was 2.100

and then i did a google and found thats the same as a sbc rod

well thanks for clearing that up for me sean

many used to and still use standard SBC rods in ls1's. Mine are SBC rods in my ls1 with an eagle crank. The actual ls1 rod is offset a little
