CPL Re-new

I need to re-new my cpl. I need to find a class quickly, I'm in macomb county any sugestions?

guy in gibraltar does a class every Saturday 85-95 bucks.

Why do you have to take a class to renew your CPL? I just had to sign something saying I had 1 hr of range time in the last 6 months.

For an individual licensed after July 1, 2001, and subsequently applying for a renewal:

Pistol safety training course is not required
Applicant shall present a statement signed by the applicant certifying that he/she has:

Completed at least three (3) hours of review of the pistol safety training course and has at least 1 hour of firing range time in the 6 months immediately preceding the renewal application

they will try to make you feel like you need a course, but the law is written....you may have to ask to sign the affidavid (I did bc I knew that I did not have to present any more course work.

That said, a friend of mine is an instructor at Ranger Firearm Instruction (http://rangerfirearminstruction.com/) if anybody is looking for basic CPL, advanced tactical handgun, or carbine courses.

Just renewed mine in oakland county and it was expired for 9 months. Didn't have to take the class and no hassles. Received my new CPL in the mail 4 weeks to the day.

yup, just have to sign the form saying you did range time and reviewed the material

x76....just renewed mine a couple weeks ago.....just filled out the paperwork that said I reviewed the material and that was it/
