wow, they definately make you wait, i guess i will have to be patient, even though that seems lie an awful long time
ya, that sounds like this class. Remember, the 5 month wait
had nothing to do with the class, the wait depends on your
county - & yours sounds like wayne.
ding,ding,ding!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For sure you should take a register CPL course before buying a gun.
If you have not had military training you should take a CPL or shooting class
before owning any weapon.
Oakland and Macomb are both very good now. Shall issue counties.
umm... the STATE is shall issue
I win something :headscrat

Which brings up a good point, why do they have the gun board?

They are there as a precautionary measure to make sure that guns don't get in to the wrong hands even if you passed your CPL course.
Let me give you an example. The woman in front of me was asked a question: "have you ever been convicted of a felony?"
She says "no"
"how about any domestic violence incidents?"
"Yes, about 3 years ago I chased my boyfriend with a kitchen knife and was arrested."
"Ok Thank You, you are being denied a license to carry."
what? why?
"You can go now ma'am."
Ya, but she never caught me!

The point is that it's not up to them, [\QUOTE]
I would disagree here. It is up to them and they do have the final say so.

No, because if you meet all the requirements...
They can't just say "Well Bob, we don't like you, you can't have a license."
