Coyote trying to snack on some guy.

Was he trying to pet it at one point? I don't know about that ... I always thought coyotes were solitary hunters until I saw a pack in AZ desert (up near flagstaff in the mts). I'd be cautious as this animal is no longer scared of humans.

Every experience that I've had with Coyote's, they've been afraid of humans. I'd have fired off a warning shot to scare it away. LMAO at the dude's comments.

Coyotes are usually pretty scared of anything bigger than they are. Took some balls on that one to run up on a full sized adult alone.

I've seen a couple by my place, but never that close. Mostly running across the road. Too bad it's not afraid of humans, I have a feeling that will be it's downfall.

I'm honestly surprised the hunters aren't all over this. I thought I would have seen 10 posts about blasting it.

"I see you lickin your lips".. lmao.

Rabid animals lose their fear of humans. I wouldn't let that thing get that close to me.

what a gorgeous animal.

i honestly think it was just trying to play with him. if you notice it wouldnt come near til he starting "flexing" at it, stomping his feet/lunging forward etc. when you do that with a dog they get playful. and just by its attitue i think if it wanted a snack it would have lunged at the guys neck ya know?

that said. we have coyotes out here, and just listening to them bark/howl at night..id have to be in a pretty weird state of mind to get that close to one, let alone stick my hand out to it. lmao

Yeah I thought that too. It is a very pretty animal. Those eyes are crazy!

It's not like he didn't entice it with the kiss noises to come closer. I had a dog that would play with my shoe like that. Never bit hard enough to do any damage, just playful nips. Maybe it was playing. Still would be weirded out by a wild animal doing that. Unless it was domesticated at some point. But you never know. They could turn at any moment and inflict way more damage than you would expect.

I saw a coyote eating french fries on the side of the I-75 exit ramp to Great Lakes Crossing. This was at 11 am or noon on a Sunday morning. That one was no where as good looking as the one in the video. I know they are in my neighborhood, a few tiny dogs have come up missing. If I wanted to hunt coyotes, do I use poodles as chum?

Very beautiful animal. I think that is awesome. Glad he didn't hit it or anything and that he respects wildlife enough to appreciate it.

"This is my trailer, and uh....this is my dog."
