I can't take a side on this as I feel both did wrong.
The girl and any teenager for that matter have serious issues these days. I have to deal with it all the time around my house the lil hoodlems that live down the street and next door.
Shit last summer this fucker was hanging out of his bedroom window shooting my trailer (dutchmen camper 32') with a beebee gun I was standing my garage and was like wtf is that noice walk outside to see that.
I went over there an about kick his door down and went off on his parents the did nothing told me to leave or there gunna call the cops.
I used to be so afraid of my parents growing up but now I know why they did what they did an how. ME and my siblings always get complimented on well behaved and mannored we are when in public. I now wear my dads belt that used to crack my ass when i was younger lol.
but then from the other side the cop might have taken it a lil far but then again maybe not since we don;t know the story just what the stupid media dramatizes to us.
