COPO Camaro

Buy a wrecked V6 and Re-Vin it:)

BTW I agree with Denny, WTF is the puny 5.3L doing under that blower?

They should have a N/A 427(like they do) and a Blown 427.

The new COPO is supposed to be one hell of a car.

I wonder why they are using titles from the '60s, like COPO and ZL1. Is it just a marketing strategy?

Usually a TM issue. After a certain amount of time that have to use the name or they loose it.

Oh! That's interesting, I never thought of that. How long are trademarks valid?

Those are definitely cool names that have a ring to them, and they will probably do the company well. However, one thing that is kind of a bummer is that the origin of those names will likely be unknown by people of my generation and younger. Ah well, they gotta do what they gotta do!

The truck motor is the 5.3 and its actually an LS9 aluminum block with LS7 heads, its got to be destroked majorly. I bet it revs to the moon

Suggested class: AA Stock
Cubic inches: 327 (5.3L)
Block: LS9
Block material: aluminum
Crank: forged steel
Rods: H-beam
Pistons: forged dome
Compression ratio: 10.2:1
Heads: LS7
Rocker arms: LS7 1.8-ratio
Induction: boosted
Intake: Whipple 2.9l supercharger
Camshaft type: hydraulic roller
Cam duration (deg.): 244/255 @ .050-in.
Cam lift (inch): .650

That is a huge lift especially with 1.8 ratio rockers and boost. Im curious to see what springs are keeping that cam under control

I would imagine they run such a small displacement forced induction car to compete with the Cobra Jet with that being only a 5.4.....
