Cop tries to grab video camera during traffic stop

one of the guys over at CF posted this from Alaska of him and his buddy getting pulled over while the camera was rolling in his car.

I am sure there will be a law very soon to where we cant record when we get pulled over, until then I keep a camera handy these days you NEVER know!
 
Wickd would know more than anyone if there is any legal repurcusions, against the cop that is.

But as common info goes, the passenger was recording, not the driver. And there is no law preventing you from recording the exact same thing that the cops them selves record when they pull you over.

I think it's called "one party consent" or something. What the cop did in that video is border line assault.
 
Why didn't they keep filming? Did he really pull them over for following too closely? It was obvious he just wanted to pull them over and had to make something up. Unbelievable.
 
I know we could turn them off and on too.

That cop is an asshole, and those dumbasses didn't help the situation either :lol:

I can't believe he goes and tries to grab it right away...
 
I would have asked what makes that dude any different than any other news agency out there...and since when are we as civilians censored from taking pics or video of things? It's not like he's revealing national secrets to the enemy. I hope that cop gets fired...or at least suspended without pay. Total bullshit... :shake:
 
Whats funny is to see the way things change. If i talked to cops like that back 20 years ago (i'm guessing the kids where mid 20's) . They would drag your ass out of the car and beat the fuck out of you.
