F1 is a real race car, the veyron kind of portrays itself as just pure muscle.

it's one engine modeled after a smaller one and then it was designed to this big one. Made is salzgitter Germany at VWs engine plant there.

They are all hand built and every engine run on the dyno prior to leaving. You need special security access to enter the building room. It is really a sight to see.
