This thing is sweet and asking more than I thought I'd ever see a fox body listed for.

I knew the guy who bought it from MSP and restored it (20+ years ago).

I owned one of the 1989's, loved it!

How easy/hard is it to rent out a car as a movie prop? Also, what kind of money are we talking here?

I'll ask a friend of mine, he rented out some police cars for a movie made
here in Michigan. I remember him saying it was a very good $$$ deal for
him, but I'll ask how much.

My cousin rented out his Camaro when they made 8 Mile, it came back all tore up. Door and front fender smashed in IIRC. Let me see if I can find the clip.

Here it is; the yellow one.

I’d be heated. Just curious. I’d consider renting mine out but it would come with a specific contract.

A buddy of mine was renting cars from his collection when Michigan had the movie incentives. His wife's primered 1966 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible was featured in a Kid Rock music video, if I remember correctly. He told me he would get $250/day for a vehicle. He would go there in person, every day, to make sure the vehicles did not get damaged.

In my opinion, the only way to make any real money is to rent several vehicles for the same event. This guy has about 30 vehicles, many which are military, fire equipment or police vehicles. So I think he would rent more than 1 for an event to make it worth his time.
