Cool/Interesting/Oddball finds on CL

The only explanation that makes any sense to me is that wealthy New Yorkers buy them for their weekend homes. Not sure how true that is...

Ironic, that is actually mine I'm trying to sell. Not joking.

[emoji23] well free plug! I like old Landcruiser and the market for them varies wildly, but a nice 60 series LC will push past $25k these days.

For the person who’s into Wagoneers, yours seems like a nice example for a reasonable price. I just can’t see $50k-$70k for them!

I thought I was into Wagoneers more than I actually am. Had a 79 Bronco that I sold cuz car seats/ 2 door are annoying so I thought a classic 4x4 4 door would be cool but not so much.

It does have a pile of miles so that scares some away. Others just want a fully restored one for rust bucket prices. People will come look at and pick it apart saying it needs this/ that. I'm running out of patience holding my tongue telling them to get lost and go spend 20k plus on a nut & bolt restored one

I know your pain! Simply be as upfront and detailed as possible
in your ad along with plenty of excellent photos.

That helps to reduce some of the clowns.....but not all.

CruisnCobra, I believe your Wagoneer is priced very fair. It’s a cool ride. I know people in the northeast still love them.

Thanks. I'm probably just gonna remove the ad and put it into storage for the winter. Try again in the spring when stuff generally sells better.

Are we now at the point where anything built before 1980 is cool? That Coronet is terrible. lol

Listen... A shapeless blob was just named "Mustang" in a effort to compete with another shapeless blob called a Model 3? Model X? With that said, that Coronet is terrible! Hahahahahahahaha

Did you get a Tesla yet, Roger? I swear I look into every single one I see and it's not you so far.

1959 Chevy Motor Home - $4000 (Massillon)

Very unique and well built. Built back in the 80s. I bought it at an estate sale, but didn't realize it would not fit in my garage. It has always been stored in a garage. The last ten years it has not been used, but started and moved occasionally. So could use a going over. It does run an stop. May trade for an older car. Call or text 330-949-1813 Has a 440ci

My dad sold his clean 100,000 mile, LBZ, 2006 DMaX for 17k 5 years ago. Maybe he thinks they gain in value because new truck prices keep going up....hmmm...

That probably has a lot to due with it. The used truck market is crazy expensive now. You can see a lot of sellers trying to break even on used car loans. 5-8 year old truck with 60k miles for $30k so it'll have 150k miles by the time the second loan is paid off.
