Well to start off im not 100% sure im ready to sell.I really do love this car but i really need something i can drive year round.I don't own a winter beater anymore which is my main problem.Ive owned this car for 4 years and have been through a lot with it.

I bought the car 100% bone stock and left it that way for about a year.Over the last 4 years ive done a few things.Hope im not leaving anything out.

exterier mods include

-mach one chin spoiler
-mach one grill delete
-black housing and smoked headlights from Americanmuscle
-shorty antenna
-spoiler moved back

Engine mods

-Ford racing 70mm Throttle body
-K&n filter
-Ford racing "king cobra clutch" with about 10,000 miles or so
-hurst shifter

The car has 18x10 and 18x9 black saleen replicas
The tires are 285/30/18 and 255/35/18s
Car is also lowered but i cant for the life of me remember what springs i went with..Ill edit this post when i figure out what they are.

The front tires are in great shape and ill throw a brand new set of rears if i decide to sell the car.

Inside the car is in great shape with black leather interior . There is a kenwood kdc-mp720 mp3 cd player with motorized face and 4v preamp outs. Its a pretty nice deck.It actually has a built in 0-60 and hp calculator via a built in g-force meter.I doubt that it's accurate but its fun to play with and a pretty nice cd player.I was having problems with the stock mach460 amps so i rewired all the speakers directly to the head unit and it sounds much better than the mach amps ever did.

The car was involoved in a VERY minor parking lot fender bender ealrier this summer.I have pictures of all the damage and even progress pictures of the car at the body shop.Ill even put a few pictures up here but the really the only damage was that the front bumper and one headlight was pulled off.NO damage to core support or metal bumper under the cover..Just the bumper cover and foam padding underneath .

The car was repaired with Ford parts only with exception of the aftermarket headlights. While the new bumper was being painted i had the body shop repaint both front fenders and the hood because of rock chips from over the years. The car really looks great.

I installed a new/used transmission earlier this summer when the original tranny's input shaft bearings took a crap.I bought the tranny from a member on this site and it has worked great since installed.I got a chance to look at the clutch with about 9,000 miles on it and it still looked great.Put in a new pilot bearing too.The new tranny has less miles then the original had anyways.

Heres a few pics of the car.

These first pics are before the new paint on the front end and the new smoked/black housing headlights.

looks bad but its really not.As you can see there is no damage to hood, fenders, core support,or anything important.

The car has been driven like a typical mustang.Im not gonna sit here an say ive never whipped a donut or spun the tires.Ive had my fun with the car over the years but have always taken care of it.Its been my main DD for 4 years. This car has been my baby.It has never seen the track or nitrous or anything crazy like that.

The car is currently at about 118,000 miles but i do drive it daily.I bought the car with 68,000 miles.

Im still very unsure whether i can actually sell this or not so im not even sure what to ask. I guess something in the $8,000 range? maybe a trade for something i can drive year round?I really don't know but this is definitely a feeler ad so i don't know.If if your not going to buy it give me your input on a fair asking price.

Sorry this post is sooo long and cluttered but i dont want to leave anything out.Im a very honest person and want to make sure i tell everything about the car.

You never know but 8k with those miles seems... higher then average.

generally a 10-11 year old vert, clean, with light mods and low average miles is about 6-7k. Real clean, good miles and decently/well modded will get you 8-10k depending.

Someone may love what you've done, and will pay what you are asking without question. Start at 8 and see what happens.

not exactly the best time of year either

plus! I can see the damage was minimal but the fact it was in an accident of some sort will be a factor to some. some care and some don't.

Beautiful car. I think someone will try to offer 7k for it. I think having the black wheels will help it sell, because black wheels are in right now. Good luck!

Thanks guys.I was thinking pretty much the same as you.I realize showing an accident isn't exactly the best thing to do when thinking about selling a car.I just want to be honest about everything.

nice car. i say keep it and throw a blower on it

Ive definitely thought about doing that before.Always seemed like a great idea till i got to drive my buddies pullied cobra. I'm pretty sure there will be a cobra coupe in my future.4 valve all the way.

That's not really and accident though. There was no real damage. A bumper cover, foam and headlight is nothing.

Even though it's nice, the miles are a touch high. I would think getting 6 or 7 for it, you would be doing good. If you have stock wheels, I would put those back on, since selling it with the black wheels will not get you more for the car. It might push the sale since it looks better but won't get you more.

It's better to put the car as stock as you can, then off the aftermarket stuff on E-bay. I received a 2003 GT vert with 27K on it from my friend (an original owner) in trade for my 96 Cobra. It was much easier to sell his car since it was mostly stock. It only had exhaust. I sold it to the first guy within 7 days of the add being posted. My 96 Cobra had a supercharger, and all the other mods. In 6 weeks I got 4 calls, not one person even came to look at it. People like stock stuff IMO.
