my new engine swap was completed yesterday.

418 C.I.
273 Comp cam
hand ported 6.1 heads and intake manifold
Diamond pistons
Callies Crank
Compstar Rods
Pacesetter headers reworked for 6.1 ports
and lots of Michigan hard work

JZB engines in white lake built the short block.

Truck is back on the road, after the stock trans failed. See how long this new to me junkyard trans and 3200 Circle D torque converter lasts.

I got my car all back together last night and Johnny is getting close too.
 
Me Likes! Just picked up a 2010 QC 4x2 end of March and, from what I've read, the new heads flow damn near as well as the SRT offerings. I'd love to mod this thing.
 
I love the look of that thing! Nice to see a Mopar motor with that cool 6.1 intake on it. Two questions..... What does the engine weigh and how much power we talking? I'm having evil thoughts.:icon_eek:
 
haven't had it dynoed i am hoping for around 550hp at the engine, don't think the engine weighs much more than the 5.7
