Compact carry opinions

"The .40 is what I would consider ideal and is what I'm leaning towards. It's a whole different issue (argument) but I feel that a 9mm is not enough as far as "stopping power" is concerned."

Don't believe all the marketing hype concerning "stopping" or "knockdown" power. Handguns just flat don't have it. Buy the gun that you feel will allow you to accurately and quickly install the most drain holes in your target subject's vitals.

Police trades usually have a ton of wear on the gun from being holstered/unholstered, but aren't usually shot more than the minimum needed each year. I got mine used, but mint from a local gunshop marked @ $399

What is the scoop on Kahr? I see the name a lot but don't personally know anyone who owns one. Anyone here own or fired one in the catagory we have been discussing?

I had a PM9 for awhile too. I only sold mine because I needed the cash, but I really liked it. You have to treat them just a little different than most carry guns, like always using the slide release to drop the slide. But once you are used to the nuances like that they are great. The PM9 is a little "snappy" but then, all little guns are. I used to carry mine in a Comp-tac MTAC holster and it would just disappear. I still carry my MP9c in the same holster (different kydex body) its just a little bulkier because of the double stack mag.
