Cobalt SS(turbo) finally announced

Lol, no because in my mind its still a souped up cavalier. I really don't care for front wheel drive cars either, I don't like how they drive, especially once they get some power. To be honest though, I have never driven one.

Whatever happened to your car? Does it run?

And for the record, while I personally wouldn't buy a car like this Cobalt thing, it's still pretty cool. If you're a budget racer, that's a pretty nice package for sure.

Lol, it's been alive and well since mid June, the good doctor tuned it in July. Call me before the weather gets too shitty, I'll let you take it for a spin.

I was just teasing, the LSJ (2.0 supercharged) should have never existed, it should have been turbo from day 1, I admit the SRT-4 was the baddest FWD car in production, but the new SRT-4 doesnt impress me as much. It should be fun now that there is a wider array of these types of cars out.

true, fe7 owns all anyways and TMK i never have seen the fe5 designation on anything yet, just fe1 fe2 fe3 fe4 and fe7 (well fe9 but thats an emissions code)

edit: and the new srt4 is a slow pos too. Its got more power but is slower, heavier, and uglier.

It is crazy to see all these fwd vehicles coming out with so much hp out of a 4 cyl. To think that everyone of them, mazdaspeed3, hhr ss, cobalt ss, srt4 etc. has more hp than the old 5.0 that so many of us have. Boy the market keeps changing.

I like my car. I wouldn't be caught dead in a Caliber SRT-4. I've never been in the Cobalt SS but I'd consider the new turbo one for a DD.

For as much power as my car makes I'm extremely happy with it. (Knock on wood) but it's been very reliable other than some minor clutch issues that are sorted out and I can still drive it 365 days a year.

My daily driver is a Cobalt. Not the greatest looking car, but it is kinda fun to drive even though it is slow. For a daily driver it's a great car though.

the new cobalt is cool...i kinda like those little cars. those new rims look like mini C6 Zo6 wheels lol...
and i just saw a black one of those at lowes the other day. it was an M plated car and had those wheels and all the test diagnosic shit in it...and the guy that got out of it was the dude that is 3 from the right with the dark hair and goatie....i don't know who that guy is, but i he seems familiar like i've met him before....???
