Yea that will taste the same in dec 14', 15', and so on. If your poor and hungry and someone hands you that can but it's Jan 14' you're telling me you wouldnt eat it or use it to feed your kids?

I'm just Saying beggers can't be choosers, shit I've drank beer that was 4years old. A can of budwieser at my Grampa house. It stayed cold an in the dark that hole time. It tasted as fresh as the one next to it that was a week old. I couldn't believe it.

Ever drink expired pop? Tastes nasty. Had a can of coke at my cousins house back in July. Tasted weird. Looked on the bottom and it said it expired dec 2011.

I check expiration on all our groceries on a regular basis and toss anything expired. Especially dairy.

Further proof that Budweiser is shit.

Pop in a can lasts a couple years if in a temperature-stable and dark environment. Pop in a bottle lasts a decade in the same. Pop in plastic... months.

Canned food lasts pretty close to forever if kept from heat, freezing, and out of sunlight. I'm not sure why they put expiration dates on it, especially less than 5 years.

Keep in mind that most of this stuff sits around for months before it even gets to the grocery store. You don't want to know how long it's been from the time an egg tumbles out of a chicken's vent and when it arrives in your refrigerator.
