Cincinnati Municipal Code 503.29

get ready, they are going to find any and every trick in the book to get $$.

My father was pulled over on his way home from up north...they asked for the Id's of all the people in the car,WHY? b/c they will get $$ if anyone has a warrant...not saying its right to have a warrant but all this toll collecting does not help pubic safety.

that is total bullshit, i hate how bad its getting......i heard on the radio that they can now ticket you if your car is running in your OWN driveway (warming up) because they say it keeps theft down......i say find the assholes thieving and leave the innocent people alone....i would hate to get pulled over in a car with nothing wrong with it except it has big wheels or get a ticket in my own driveway beacause i think most likely i would go to jail because i would loose my mind

If you have $ for big wheels you have $ to pay the fines. Total BS but in a way i think its better than losing officers that are needed more every day with crime going up every day :dontknow:

I understand the safety reasoning..

Nevermind how much slower you brake with all that added rolling weight..

But at the same time, it's a bit of a stretch for law enforcement to be pushing this...

Unless they can prove that the wheel make the car unsafe, there shouldn't be a fine/impound. To say they can afford it doesn't mean they should have to pay. If the cops are so badly needed for crime, they shouldn't be wasting time hassling people for having big wheels. Police already spend too much time as revenue generators.

A sign of the times.. no tax base means they have to get $ somewhere.

Losing a tax base shouldn't make it legal to start stealing from people. If the police have time to spend going after people for things like this, they can afford to lose a few officers. That will help with the shortage of funding.

What this guy said. Plus have you looked into the parts for a "lift" for a caprice, cadillac or the sort? No way would I put anything like it on my car. The brackets and such that are used are so underbuilt I do honestly see a safety issue.

So who has the donk here? Where are the Motown DONKS at? Lol. There is really all kinds of stupid laws but they rarely enforce stuff unless your being a douche! Lol
I think most of use have broken this one multiple times....i hope lol. "No man may seduce and corrupt an unmarried girl, or else he risks five years in prison."

I once almost got impounded for an air freshener on my mirror. Hand cuffed and put in back of a cop car for 45 mins. then they found out I was not the guy they were looking for. And let me go. But if I did not hear them talking on the radio I will have still thought it was for the air feshener they told me it was. that was about 15 years ago. I did get a sorry and a remove that air feshener out of it.

It youd like a good challenge lol

LMAO +1

Stupid laws are created for stupid people by people not smart enouh to outsmart the stupid people to begin with!

And these DONKS as well as 90% of the lifted/big tired trucks are a safety issue. Most of them don't understand the consequince of thier actions by putting tires on that much larger in diameter over stock without a major brake upgrade. I for one usually avoid driving in front of these people.

You have to be kidding...that's like saying since you have he money to build a race car, and drive it on teh streets legally, you can afford to pay a fine for your car looking too fast...gimme a break

GLad you feel you have so much "disposable" income to justify officerswasting both your time and thiers....OMG

Agreed. Property values drop and residency drops =loss in tax base, but it's not the fault of the people as a mass. Finding new ways to "make taxmoney" will only further the problem with people having less money to pay thier real bills.
