who smokes and/or collects them? and what are you favorites?

since i've moved down here, i've been building a collection from local shops here in FL that roll their own. it's pretty cool to watch them roll them, and if they are good i'll add more of their stuff to my humidor.

:smokin:

Ashton, Makers Mark, Rocky Patel, just to name a few. I go to Vibratto'S in the Clem, he keeps a good selection and they are fresh!

i'm not a huge flavored tobacco guy, but i've heard really good things about acid as far as that goes.

my fathers and rocky patel both made some great cigars as well. i just picked up some padron 1926 #2's and really like them a lot.

i just need to find a cuban connection down here. you think being this close to cuba, it wouldn't be a problem

 I just read this post after I sent you a PM.. Were are you in FL?
BTW the Cohiba Behike are about $50-$75 each!

C.A.O. are the best IMO. I have tried several Remeo Julieta and didn't really care for them.

C.A.O. MX12 is personally my favorite, and not to expensive 10<

Don Tomas Maduro and Fuente Don Carlos are two that I enjoy. I also smoke the Macanudos fairly often as they don't take as long to smoke and are inexpensive.

I'm actually planning on visiting the old Fuente factory here in Tampa soon.

Pretty sure Vibrattos is now closed. He was a cool guy, but he didn't have a large selection as some competitors and prices were not all that great either. My local hangout is Smokers Outlet at 10 and Kelly in Roseville. They have a pretty well stocked humidor and competitive pricing. They also usually have an event about once a month.

If you're just getting into the "hobby", check out cigarsinternational.com. They offer the "cigar of the month club", and for around 30/month, they send you 5 "premium" cigars. I have received shipments that included GHURKA, COHIBA, Joya De Nicaragua and Rocky Patels. It's a good way to try different smokes. I also have never had a bad cigar from Drew Estate (Acid, Java, Natural). Drew Estate recently released a cigar called "My Uzi Weighs a Ton", it is a 60 ring gauge and 6 inches long.....GREAT SMOKE!

i've smoked cigars for over 15 years, i've just now started collecting them. i don't have a lot of interested in a "cigar of the month" club... i prefer to purchase locally, and see the product before i buy.

Been in the hobby for about 10 years now. My palette has definitely changed over the years. Currently have a few hundred stocked up :)

Some of my classic favorites are (depending on the mood) Padron 64 Anniversary, Montecristo white, Torano Casa Torono, CAO Cameroon and La Traviata, Drew Estate Liga Privata (Dirty Rat)

Lots of new stuff I've been trying lately: Zino Z Class, Avo Heritage, La Gloria Cubana N Series, La Flor Dominicana Air Bender.

Whats your opinion of the air bender?

One of the better cigars I've had in a while...although it had some draw problems. I have another one sitting out right now, I think the store's humidor was set a little high, so I'm letting this one dry out a bit.
