Chrysler Crossfire SRT6 questions

Anybody know anything about them? Turbocharged or Supercharged? My buddy in Florida is looking at one. He said the owner told him the engines are hand built in Germany and are really 350hp but Mercedes Benz execs got pissed and they underrated them at 330hp.

They're all supercharged. They're all automatics. I've never heard any specifics about being underrated, but I'd believe it. Everything about the car is German right down to the damn key itself. They're nice cars for what they are I guess. A bit overpriced IMO, but they are nice.

The verts are nice. And I love the SRT wheels over the stock wheels. Same with the fixed wing. I think the car looks stupid with the wing recessed.

We have had a few in the shop, I drive quite a few regulars ones, the srt6 is supercharger its the motor thats in the slk320 kompressor or whatever they call it. I my self didnt think it would do a 4.8 60mph but I only drove it threw 1 gear. They are all autos by the way. They use a special oil filter thats located up top of the motor and the normall NA crossfire takes 8 quarts mobile one shouldnt differ from the srt6. The oil change is like 160 bucks if you take it to a dealer witch is alot. The filter alone is like 42 bucks.
