Buddy snapped his timing belt at 60 mph+. Dealership wants $1800 to replace the water pump and timing belt. Condition of head (valves) is unknown but my guess is that he's got at least 2 bent valves. Factor in time and labor on top of that, and he's better off with a new or low mile motor.
