Sad deal.... I had a chance to go see him last night and had to turm it down as I get up at 3am for work.

Terrible stuff. He was a hell of a vocalist. RIP

Very sad, I loved his music in my HS years. They were one of the band that made the grunge music scene what it was.

On WRIF they said he was found with something wrapped around his neck, I REALLY hope it doesn't come out that he was murdered in Detroit. I can only think of a few ways you end up dead with something around your neck. Hopefully it comes out that that is incorrect and it was of natural causes or something.

Surprised my wife by taking her to see Chris last night... she didnt know until we were standing in front of the marquee.!! We nabbed food at hockeytown and then we were escorted to the front row.. Wife was so happy she was crying. Pretty good show, then this bad news... WTF.

Just awful. So many legends from that era gone; Kurt, Layne, Scott, Mike Starr, Shannon Hoon etc.

I was there too last night....I have FINALLY seen him after years of trying...devastated this morning. I still feel he was the voice of my generation...
to think it was suicide too make me even more sad
