100% stock, no tune. It runs well enough right now and I don't want the hassle if the tune causes a problem and Ford voids the warranty.
My old truck came in 4th a couple years ago, but this truck pulled the sled further. This truck pulled it 263', the old one was in the 250's I think. This truck also has an E-lock rear axle which helped it starting out.

Just wondering , I had heard that taking your new car to a dragstrip will void the warrenty ( if the dealer finds out)
Wont using your truck in a truck pull do the same.
Seriously not trying to be a smart ass - just asking a question, because i think it would be a blast to try in my truck
I just talked to the tech that drove it, there were a couple old Dodge Power Wagons, and some older Chevy trucks. The class was "stock gas" which means no diesel trucks or modified pulling trucks. There isn't a limit on engine though. He said the older Chevy that won was a built engine with nitrous.
I guess the burden of proof is on them. They have to prove the the truck was damaged because of doing the event. I wouldn't suggest it with a Dodge though, they are for Hockey Mom's going to the Red Wings games, not serious 1/2 truck use.
I can't follow advise from someone that doesn't know the difference between their and there...

Too bad ford didnt stick with a v8 and throw the twins on it... it would be unstoppable.
