cheapest turbo parts that are good for a turbo ls notch

say you were planning on doing a turbo 6.0l on a budget in a notch. What are the best cheap parts to get?

turbo - I was told a borg warner s480 and you can get them for around 800 new
BOV - what size & brand?
wastegate - what size & brand?
intercooler - best cheap fit for a notch

this is all just hypothetical of course.
 
bw s400 yes, superior has 12 on the shelf for Under $700...yes buy local and you'll save
BOV/WG been looking at the ebay crap rebuilt with tial springs....the best ebay seller is wyntonn??
Frozen boost sells the import IC, I was budgeting $200 for IC and misc piping/cheap clamps

On a LS you'll need at least 60's for injectors and the pump to match, budget is denso's supra pump $100
FPR will be needed too and some type of voltage booster to keep the pump running at 14v.

this is on my list of to-do's :)
 
I just listed the stuff in the for sale forum that I would use. Slightly higher budget but it's possible to build an easy 8 second car with mostly factory engine parts. You will need the fuel system to support that kind of power. I don't know much about the BW turbos but I know they work well. The GT42 was only like 1100 I think and it kicked ass when I tried it, 155mph @ 3200# and only 19psi.

i just called on that turbo and they said its a s480 thats 74mm for $650 so I'm assuming thats it they had 11 of them

what size bov and wastegate for that setup? I heard the cheap ebay ones work just fine even though its not optimal.
 
Oh, I was also looking for this query . thanks for posted this and also thanks to them who shared there relevant useful information that helps a lot for making better decision .
