Change Exhaust on "L"? Flowmaster or MAC?

It currently has MAC Cat back (single muffler 2 in, 2 out) and I like the sound of it, but the tips are starting to rust (they are prone to rusting). SO I found a hellunva deal on a flowmaster cat back (single muffler, 2 in, 2 out) and bought it. now it's sitting on the shelf.

Anyone heard the Flowmaster on a 2nd Gen Lightning?
I like the metalic "ting" of a flowmaster, but not sure I'll get the same sound out of a lightning...

Cat backs add ZERO HP on the trucks. actually the stock exhaust (cat back) flows very well)

THOUGHTS?

btw: 3 weeks, 2 shredded s/c belts.:dontknow: I'm only at 17#'s boost. :badass:

I'm would go with Flows. Only because I've heard my car sounds good (I have a combo of Mac headers and piping and Flowmaster mufflers. I like the way your truck sounds though, wonder how much the sound will change.

hmmm, I wonder if we could rig up an SLP Loudmouth too it....

But personally, my favorite exhaust on the modulars - Bassani.

I know  You'll never see/anything like it again  Mine has a distinct sound though, I went a different route is some places with the exhaust.

I had 2-2chamber flowmasters on my first gen 2. they sound good. I changed them to magnaflow due to magna flow sounding better.
