Ceramic coating for paint

My buddy is expecting his GMC AT4 to arrive at the dealership in two or three weeks. He is interested in getting ceramic coating for the paint. He also mentioned paint protection film for the front of the truck.
Does he need both?
Is there somewhere Genesee County someone could recommend?

These are places he considered taking his truck to.

I would do that clear tint on the paint of an expensive vehicle, especially the hood... Every truck I've ever had has little rock chips on the hood. My pal also has a nice Cadillac that could have REALLY used a clear bra in it's early days... It looks like somebody shot his car with bird shot...

Bringing this one back. What did he end up going with?

How's yours holding up, Gary? What's the name of the place?

Thought I commented on the before, guess not. I had my Ram paint corrected and ceramic coated by Clarks Dent Pro down here in Bryan, OH. I'm about a year into the coating and so far it's been great. Truck washes up a to easier and most dust/pollen blows off now where before it would stick on the paint and need an actual wash to remove. I forget the name of the stuff they use (EDIT: It's called 'Artdeshine'), but it's got a 5 year warranty. And the only requirement to validate the warranty is a yearly "maintenance" wash for them to inspect the coating and re-apply as needed for best results.

Look ups Rob's Exterior Detailing. He does paint corrections and ceramic coating. Has many different options and does a lot of show cars and daily's. He is the only guy I would let touch my car's paint

Just finished ceramic coating our new truck with Torque Detail ceramic spray from the Chemicals Guys. The paint feels silky smooth now and has a nice shine.
